Conditions for joining the Nation Building Army, Sifa za Kujiunga JKT 2023 (JKT)
Young volunteer requirements for the Nation Building Army
1. Have Tanzanian citizenship
2. Must be in the age range of 18 and 23.
3. You should have finished grade 7 and moved on.
4. He cannot be wed and cannot have any dependents.
5. Be prepared to abide by all applicable military regulations while serving in the military (escape, theft, drunkenness, smoking marijuana, drugs and pregnancy etc.) You will face legal action and termination from JKT for violating the terms of your military service.
6. Be prepared to leave the Nation Building Army when his contract is up.

The TANU Youth League’s General Assembly, held in Tabora on August 25, 1962, under the leadership of the late Joseph Nyerere, a former Secretary General of the Union, served as a catalyst for the founding of JKT.
The Tanganyika Cabinet, headed by Mwalimu Julius K. Nyerere, President of the Republic of Tanganyika and Father of the Nation, endorsed the TANU Youth Coalition Resolution on April 19 and resolved unanimously to form JKT on July 10, 1963. 11 teenagers from 11 different districts initially trained in Mgulani camp in Dar es Salaam.
