Sifa Za Kujiunga Na Dit -Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology;- The Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (DIT) was established by Parliament Act No. 6 of 1997 as a higher technical training institution in Tanzania.
Dar es Salaam Technical Institute was established with the aim of providing vocational training in the country. But it later expanded its scope to offer technical secondary school courses and technical assistant training before being upgraded in 1962 to become Dar es Salaam Technical College (DTC).
Currently the institution has three (3) campuses which are; Main Campus in Dar es Salaam,Mwanza Campus in Mwanza Region and Myunga Campus in Songwe Region. The institute offers over twenty nine (29) applied science, engineering and professional training programmes leading to the awards of Basic Technical Certificate,Ordinary Diploma,Bachelor of Engineering,Bachelor of Technology and Master Degree programme.

Two principal passes with a total of 4.0 points in Two Subjects defining the admission into the respective programme (where A = 5; B = 4; C= 3; D = 2; E = 1; S = 0.5)
Completed A’ Level Studies in 2014 and 2015
Two principal passes (‘C’ and above) with a total of 4.0 points from Two Subjects defining the admission into the respective programme (where A = 5; B+ = 4; B = 3; C= 2; D = 1; E = 0.5)
