Nordic Computers Ltd. is a limited liability company dealing in import and whole sale of computer parts and accessories in the United Republic of Tanzania, East Africa. The company was founded in the beginning of 2009 by a team of Danish partners and a Tanzanian businessman. “NORDIC” is a registered trademark by Nordic Computers Ltd. under which we began to assemble our own range of desktop computers in February 2013.

At this point it had taken more than 2 years of planning to start up the project. The NORDIC desktop assembly plant is partly financially supported by The Investment Fund for Developing Countries which is an independent investment fund owned by the Danish government.

Today, Nordic Computers is one of the leading Power & ICT importer and distributor in Tanzania with a large local warehouse, adding services and high-quality technical support.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Power & ICT Market Researcher based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The Power & ICT Market Researcher will be responsible for conducting market analysis and research, utilizing analytical skills to gather and interpret data, and communicate insights effectively. The role will involve quantitative research and data analysis, booking of executive meetings, ensure quality programs, reporting and intensive following up on business progress.

Qualifications

  • Market Analysis and Market Research skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Effective communication skills – verbal & written English
  • Quantitative research skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software
  • Experience in the Power & ICT industry is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Economics, or related field
