Aaron Korsh, the creator, executive producer, and writer of the show, mentioned on his Twitter account that Ezerzer worked in their transportation department.
I looked up what a transportation department employee does in the film industry and it looks like this could mean anything from driving the cast around to organizing transportation arrangements for the show.
Is Albert ezerzer still alive?
No, He died in 2014
Why does it say in memory of Albert Ezerzer?
The end credits are preceded by a card showing “in memory of Albert Ezerzer”. Albert Ezerzer was a member of the transportation department for the show. D.B. Woodside and Gina Torres also played love interests in season 3 of 24 (2001).
That picture is not of Albert Ezerzer, that’s D.B. Woodside, albeit they look almost identical. I’ve found TONS of pictures of them online being confused for eachother, mostly it’s D.B. being confused as Albert with pictures of D.B. but Alberts name, as is the case in this post. But also a lot the other way around. Definitely doppelgängers to a T!!! What’s even weirder is that they both worked on the tv show Suits, D.B. Played a role as Jessica’s love interest while Albert worked behind the scenes as a driver for cast members, or so I’ve read. That is why after the first episode of the 4th season said “in memory of Albert Ezerzer” before the credits. Hopefully that clears some things up 🙂
