Diploma in Nursing is a full-time programme offered over a duration of three (3) years. It follows a block system for theory and work-integrated learning for integration of theory and practice.

Basic Programmes

The duration of the programme is 4 years. The Diploma in Nursing (General, Psychiatric and Community) and Midwifery is a full-time structured programme offered over the duration of 4 years. It follows a block system for theory and work-integrated learning for integration of theory and practice according to prescripts of the South African Nursing Council

The Diploma in Clinical Nursing Science, Health Assessment, Treatment and Care is a full-time structured programme offered over a duration of 1 year to 18 months with decentralised clinical placement
