4. Ser Gwayne Hightower (played by Freddie Fox): The brother of Alicent Hightower, he is a war asset for the Green faction
5. Alys Rivers (played by Gayle Rankin): Known as the Witch Queen of Harrenhal, she becomes a figure of importance among the Green faction
6. Simon Strong (played by Simon Russell Beale): A knight of House Strong, he is the great-uncle of Larys Strong and a key figure in the conflict
7. Hugh Hammer (played by Kieran Bew): A dragonseed living on Dragonstone, given the opportunity to claim a dragon to support the Black faction
8. Ulf White (played by Tom Bennett): Another dragonseed, he is part of the Black faction and a potential dragonrider
9. Silver Denys (played by Robert Rhodes): A Targaryen descendant from Dragonstone, whose claim is questioned due to his Targaryen appearance
10. Cheese (played by Mark Stobbart): A ratcatcher who infiltrates the Red Keep with Blood, carrying out the assassination known as Daemon Targaryen’s Blood and Cheese plot
11. Ser Rickard Thorne (played by Vincent Regan): A Kingsguard for Aegon II and an ancestor to Alliser Thorne from the Night’s Watch
12. Oscar Tully (played by Archie Barnes): The young grandson of Grover Tully, heir to Riverrun and future Lord Paramount of the Riverlands.
13. Joffrey Velaryon (played by Oscar Eskinazi): Rhaenyra’s third son from her marriage with Laenor Velaryon, fathered by Harwin Strong

These new characters add depth and complexity to the already intricate storyline of the Targaryen civil war.
