Stats SA 2022 Census Recruitment for South Africans;- Stats SA will be conducting the first digital population count in South Africa. The night of 2 February 2022 will be the reference point on which everyone within the borders of South Africa will be counted.

The organisation is on a nationwide recruitment drive to appoint prospective candidates for fieldwork that includes collecting data from respondents and other activities involved in the pre-enumeration, enumeration and post-enumeration phases.

About 165 000 officials will be recruited across the country to update and identify new dwellings, conduct publicity and to collect data.  Recruitment will (ONLY) be through our online database to ensure that people are recruited from their areas of residence. The recruitment database will open from 25 October to 31 December 2021.
