The purpose of my.UChicago is to provide access to the university’s central directory and services, including email and calendaring services; other campus applications; bookstores, housing and dining options; library resources; online training courses for faculty and staff; career development tools; and more!

my.UChicago Login Portal, register & Sign Up

The first step is to log in to the UChicago website with your NetID and password. You can do this by clicking on the “my.UChicago Login Portal” link at the top of any page on uchicago.edu, or by navigating directly to https://my.uchicago.edu/.

You may be asked to confirm that you are signing into the portal with your NetID and password; if so, use them again and click Sign In (see image below).

If you have not yet created an account, click Create Account and follow instructions on screen to create a new myUChicago account using either your email address or phone number as an identifier (see images below).

To sign up for my.UChicago login portal, you will need to use your UChicago email address and your UChicago password. If you do not know if your email address is a @uchicago.edu, please go to the uchicago.edu website and check if it says “University of Chicago” at the end of the address (i.e., username@uchicago).

Your username should be all lowercase letters with no spaces between letters or numbers (for example: johndoe).

Forgot Password and Username

To log in to your my.UChicago account, enter your username and password. If you have forgotten your username or password, please click on Forgot Password and Username? and follow the instructions there. You may also email sso@uchicago.edu from your university email account for assistance in resetting it if you do not remember what it is.

If you are a UChicago student or employee and want to use the portal for benefits integration like MyHealth or MyHomeLife, click on “Integration”. Forgot your password? Type in your username then click on “Forgot Password?” A new email will be sent to you with instructions on how to reset it.
