The National Health Insurance Fund created, created, and hosts the NHIF Service Portal (NHIF). The primary goal of the Portal is to enable a one-stop center interface for the delivery of health care services from various Accredited Health Facilities in a transparent, simple, and economical manner for the benefit of its beneficiaries.

Beneficiaries of the NHIF in Tanzania have access to a vast network of approved medical facilities. Public, private, and faith-based organizations (FBOs), which are geographically dispersed throughout the nation, are among the authorized health facilities by the Fund. The Fund accredits healthcare facilities at all levels, including:
- hospitals with national referral systems and equivalents
- Zonal referral centers and comparable hospitals
- geographical referral Health Facilities District/Designated/ Designated
- Specialized Clinics, Health Centers, Dispensaries, Diagnostic Centers (Imaging and Laboratories), Pharmacies, and Approved Drug Dispensing Outlets (ADDOs).
