Enrolling in a university is a big decision, and you don’t need a complicated admissions process slowing you down. At AMU we’ve simplified the application process because we know our students demand accessibility. AMU accepts and reviews applications twice per year. You can apply online to get the process going immediately. The application takes approximately 30 minutes to complete. All applicants must be 18 years of age and demonstrate proficiency in English. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis with admissions decisions sent within four to six weeks.
General Admissions Requirements
To be considered for admission to AMU, you must meet the following minimum requirements, although completing these requirements does not guarantee admission:
Undergraduate Students:
- Copy of Certificate of Competency (COC) or 12th-grade ESLCE certificate
- A recent passport size color photo
Graduate Students (MSc and Ph.D.):
- Official transcript verifying receipt of your bachelor’s degree from a recognized and accredited institution
- Copy of Bachelors degree, if a student fully paid cost-sharing
- Letter of completion of Bachelors degree, if a student has not fully paid cost-sharing
- Copy of unofficial transcript (i.e., student copy)
- Statement of purpose (maximum one page)
- A recent passport size color photo
- Three (3) recommendation letters
- Proof of work experience
