Fun’s success continued with the release of their third album, “Sight of the Sun,” in 2013. The album featured the hit single “Carry On” and further cemented the band’s place in the music industry. Despite their success, the band announced a hiatus in 2015, with each member pursuing their own solo projects.

During the hiatus, the members of Fun pursued solo projects. Jack Antonoff, the band’s guitarist, formed the band Bleachers and released two albums: “Strange Desire” in 2014 and “Gone Now” in 2017. Antonoff also produced albums for artists such as Taylor Swift, Lorde, and St. Vincent.

Andrew Dost, the band’s keyboardist, released a solo album titled “Columbus” in 2017. The album was inspired by his experiences growing up in a small town in Michigan.

Lead singer Nate Ruess released a solo album titled “Grand Romantic” in 2015. He also collaborated with Pink on her hit song “Just Give Me a Reason,” which won a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance in 2014.

Despite their individual success, fans continue to hope for a reunion of Fun. However, the band’s members have made it clear that they are focused on their solo careers for the time being.
