On April 12, 2022, the Supreme Court grounds were filled with emotions as Bar exam results flashed through an LED screen. As the results of the 2022 Bar examinations will be released on April 14, 2023, many examinees are eagerly waiting to find out if they passed the notoriously difficult exam.
The announcement was made by Associate Justice Alfredo Benjamin Caguioa, who chaired last year’s Bar examinations. In a notice, he said that the results can be accessed on the SC’s website after a special en banc session next Friday.
The Bar passers who achieved the 30 highest total averages and the law schools that obtained the five highest Bar passers’ percentages will also be announced next week.

Further details on the clearance procedure, as well as the Oath-Taking and Roll-Signing on May 2, 2023, will be announced for the Bar passers. Caguioa advised candidates who were conditionally admitted to take the 2022 Bar examinations and have passed the test to submit the requisite documents within the previously given period.
Over 9,000 law graduates completed the Bar examinations held in November 2022. Last year’s Bar examinations were the second digitalized and regionalized exams since the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020.

Once the results are released, the full list of passers will be made available for download in PDF format. The list will include the names of all candidates who passed the exam, their respective ratings, and other relevant information.

Announcement of Topnotchers and Law Schools with High Passing Rates
Aside from the full list of passers, the Supreme Court will also announce the topnotchers and the law schools with high passing rates.
The topnotchers are the examinees who achieved the 30 highest total averages in the Bar examinations. Meanwhile, the law schools with high passing rates are the institutions with the five highest percentages of Bar passers.
These announcements are significant for the passers and the schools involved, as they serve as a testament to their hard work and dedication to their legal education.
