Her passion for cats and kittens was evident from a young age, and she spent much of her life advocating for their welfare.
Ashley founded Ashley’s Kitten Academy, a non-profit organization that focused on rescuing, fostering, and socializing kittens, providing them with medical care, and finding them loving homes.
Her dedication and hard work helped to save the lives of countless kittens and cats, and her Kitten Academy became well-known and respected in the Seattle area and beyond.
Ashley was an active presence on social media and had a large following. She used her platform to educate others about the importance of fostering and rescuing cats and kittens, as well as promoting adoption and spaying/neutering. Her kindness and generosity touched the lives of many people and pets in need.
Despite her tremendous contributions to the animal welfare community, Ashley struggled with mental illness, a condition that her father also battled before taking his own life in 2015. Sadly, on Thursday, April 6, 2023, Ashley lost her own battle with mental illness and passed away by suicide.
