Permanent social grant recipients can also access their grant funds using their Sassa gold cards.
Beneficiaries of grants can conduct transactions at stores and ATMs for nothing using a Sassa gold card. These cards also protect grant recipients from any unauthorized deductions and guarantee that bank fees are not applied to their first three transactions.
On the first day, there is no rush to make a withdrawal. The funds will stay in the account until they are required once they are deposited.
