The entry form will only be available for submission during this period and this period only. Entries will NOT be accepted through the U.S. Postal Service.

Who May Apply
Individuals from all countries except Bangladesh, Brazil, Canada, China (including Hong Kong SAR), Colombia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Haiti, Honduras, India, Jamaica, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, South Korea, United Kingdom (except for Northern Ireland) and its dependent categories, Venezuela and Vietnam.
The program is geared to attract individuals from countries that have historically low immigration to the United States. Last year the program received 7,336,302 qualified entries for the coveted 55,000 available immigrant visas. Egypt, Russia, Sudan, and Algeria won the most immigrant visas to legally immigrate to the United States as permanent residents.
