Every year, thousands of private and regular students participate in the SSC and HSSC exams conducted by Lahore Board. 9th and 10th class annual exams are held during March and April while 11th and 12th class annual exams are organized by the Lahore Board in May and June. Written papers are held earlier than the practical papers.
The overall pass rate for the exam remained at 83.24 percent. BISE Chairman Dr. Mirza Habib Ali said that a total of 6,963 candidates took the exam, of which 5,796 were declared successful.
