JagNet is a self-service, online registration and information system that is available to all students and staff of the University of Johannesburg. Students use JagNet to access their enrolment status, academic progress records, results and transcripts on request as well as apply for financial assistance or bursaries through the Student Financial Aid Centre (SFAC). Staff members use JagNet to manage their leave balances.

- Go to www.jagnet.com and click on the “Log in” link on the top-right corner of the website.
- Enter your JagNet username and password to log in to your account.

To reset your JagNet password, you can follow the steps below.
- Go to the JagNet portal.
- Click on the link to reset your password.
- Enter your username in the box provided and click on “Next” button at the bottom of the page.
- Enter a valid e-mail address in which you want us to send a confirmation message, and then click on “Next” button at bottom of page again as shown below:
How To Change/Reset JagNet Account Password
To change/reset your JagNet password, follow these steps:
- Go to https://my.jagnet.jhu.edu/ and log in with your JHED ID and password.
- Click on the “Password” link in the upper right corner of the page.
- Enter a new password for your account, then click “Save Password”.
- Click “Log In” at the top of this page or anywhere else on JagNet that requires a login (e.g., Blackboard).

How do I reset my JagNet password?
If you’ve forgotten your JagNet password and want to reset it, you can do so in the following ways:
- Go to the Login screen and enter your username and email address. You’ll be sent a temporary code that will allow you to create a new password. The temporary code expires after 90 days, so if it’s been more than 3 months since you created an account with us, contact us at [email protected]
- Contact us by phone or email at [email protected] . We’ll give you an agent ID number that allows access to our help desk system where agents can assist you. This service is only available during normal business hours (Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 6:00 pm).
