How To Apply for Driver License In Tanzania (Car, Motor Bike, Scooter) 2022;-Apply In-Person:

1. The application form for getting a driving license is available on Tanzania Revenue Authority contact link
2. The applicant has to procure the prescribed application form for this service from the Tanzania Revenue Authority.
3. The applicant has to provide all information in the application form.
4. Applicants should make sure to carry photocopies and originals of all documents that are necessary for completing this procedure.
5. Documents that are needed for this procedure are mentioned under the “Required Documents” section of this page.
6. The applicant has to attach all documents (photocopies and originals whichever is needed) along with the application form before submitting it in the office.
7. The fee for this procedure has to be paid as per the authority’s request.
8. After submitting the application form, the biometric information of the applicant is taken by concerned authorities at the office.
9. If the application gets approved by concerned authorities, the applicant has to head to the department of traffic offices in Tanzania for taking a driver’s test.
10. If the applicant passes the test the license will be issued by concerned authorities.
