The results for Grade 7 in 2022 have been released, according to the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC).
The examinations body reports a slight drop in the pass rate from the previous year. In contrast to last year, when the pass rate for the ZIMSEC Grade 7 exams was 41.38 percent, the pass rate for 2022 is 40.09%.

Candidates will be able to pick up their results from the schools and examination centers starting on Thursday, December 1, 2022, according to ZIMSEC public relations manager Ms. Nicky Dlamini.
Ms. Dhlamini provided an update and stated:
“Grade 7 Zimsec 2022 results are available. Beginning on December 1, 2022, candidates can pick up their results at their respective centers.
“This year, 343169 candidates took the grade 7 exam; their pass rate was 40,09%.”

But instead of going to their actual centers, Candidates can also access the ZIMSEC Results Portal online, which will be accessible on the ZIMSEC website.
Please be aware that the results for Grade 7 will only be accessible through the portal for a brief time. The previous time limit was five days. The ZIMSEC internet portal will stop making the findings available after this time.
