Top examinees, performance of schools, oath-taking schedule, registration requirements, and other important announcements will be released in two (2) working days after the last day of exams. In this article, we will focus on the performance of schools for the March 2023 Veterinarian Board Exams.

Testing Centers and Board Members

The Veterinarian Board Exam was held on March 1-3, 2023, at several testing centers located at NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Rosales, and Tuguegarao. The Board of Veterinary Medicine Chairman, Dr. Ma. Elizabeth D. Callanta, and its member, Dr. Maximino M. Montenegro, headed the licensure exams.

Top Performing Schools

The PRC recognizes the top schools (colleges and universities) in the March 2023 Veterinary Medicine board exams. As per Commission Resolution No. 2017-1058 (C) series of 2017, schools with 20 or more examinees passed and at least 80% overall passing percentage will be included in the list of top performing schools.

Performance of Schools

As per R.A. 8981, also known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7 (m), the PRC is mandated “to monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation.” The performance of schools for the March 2023 Veterinarian licensure exams will be released in alphabetical order.

Verification of Rating

The verification of ratings and test results for the licensure exam for veterinarians given by PRC Board of Veterinary will be available online a few working days after the posting of results. Successful takers can refer to PRC’s official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate.

Oath-Taking Ceremonies

PRC has started conducting face-to-face oath-taking for new professionals. All successful examinees interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking shall register no later than 12:00 NN of the day before the date of the oath-taking at http://online.prc.gov.ph to confirm their attendance. The exact date, of whether the oath-taking will be conducted face-to-face or virtual, will be provided here once announced.

Inductees are advised to bring their Vaccination Card or Negative RT-PCR results taken within 48 hours before the oath-taking. In addition, those who will not be able to attend the scheduled face-to-face mass oath-taking may attend the online oath-taking or request for a special oath-taking.
