Tanya Roberts Alive; Is Tanya Roberts still alive?
Actor Tania Roberts said Monday that actress Tania Roberts is still alive, saying the information that she died on Sunday was incorrect.
Roberts, 65, has been in hospital since December 24 after collapsing while walking her dogs, according to publicity agent Mike Pinngle.
On Sunday, he relayed a message he had received from her stunned friend, who had visited her in the hospital, that she had passed away.
However, Pingel now says the information was not correct and that Roberts is still in the hospital. It was not immediately clear how the error occurred.
Roberts is a one-time Bond girl who has appeared on “That ’70s Show” and many classic films.
Over three decades of work, Roberts has appeared in numerous films and television, making his debut in 1980 in the final season of Charlie’s Angels.
She later joined a select group of Bond girls in 1985 as geologist Stacy Sutton in “A View to a Kill,” the last film with Roger Moore as 007.
Other career highlights include the role of Midge Pinciotti on “That ’70s Show” and classic films such as The Beastmaster and Sheena: Queen of the Jungle.
Born in New York as Victoria Lee Bloom, she married screenwriter Barry Roberts in the 1970s and they moved to Los Angeles to pursue their career in Hollywood.
