In 1971, Seiji Ozawa married his second wife, Miki Irie, a former model, actress, and fashion designer. The couple remained together until Seiji’s death in 2024. Miki Irie was born on August 13, 1944, in Naka Ward, Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan. She was known as Vera in her younger days.

Children
