Application is open for the Department of basic education employment initiative Assistant posts in public and LSEN Schools for SA Youth via the SA Youth Mobi Site.

Youth who qualify to apply for Assistant posts are as follows:
(a) Youth at age 18 – 35 years (18 or above when applying, or turning 35 in the year of application)
(b) Youth residing at the location of the school
(c) One opportunity per household
(d) Meet requirements per category and sub-category applied for
(e) Good performance (if participated in phase1)
(f) Youth, not in education, not in employment, not in training (NEET)
(g) Youth not receiving government grants (NSFAS, Funza Lushaka, other covid grant from other Departments that is similar to the BEEI. If you receive the SASSA and R350 relief funds, you do qualify to apply)
(h) Youth not receiving any other form of stipend, wage or salary
(i) Youth without criminal record
