Job Purpose:
Responsible for asset product development, management and performance for Retail Banking while ensuring product profitability

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage a compelling Retail banking portfolio of Asset products.
  • Ensure proper communication of new products before public launch, awareness and training to branches and all key stakeholders
  • Analyze, manage and identify all system faults that affects product performance and suggest areas of improvement
  • Play a key role in innovating Retail Banking asset products.
  • Manage internal relationships with key stakeholders and business partners
  • Regular competitor review
  • Conduct profitability analysis to ensure product performance as per targets
  • Being pro-active to identify product issues and resolve them timely

Job Purpose:
To assist the Senior Manager; Retail (Legal) in their daily activities and in preparing legal documentation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Manager, Retail Business in drafting contracts for Retail clients.
  • Prepare relevant legal opinions and lending related documentation as required.
  • Prepare and coordinate information and lending documents to be sent to branches and relevant departments.
  • Ensure the registration of documents with the relevant government departments.
  • Discharge of security documents.
  • Train branch officials on different lending procedures, documentation and registration procedures.

Relationship Manager; Financial Institutions and Correspondent Banking (Re-advertised) (1 Position(s))

Job Purpose:
To manage all financial institutions dealing directly or indirectly with the bank including those working with Trade finance, payments, treasury, and any other departments within the bank.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage senior loans from overseas DFI’s and negotiate contracts with any DFI
  • Review FI credit limits and prepare Credit Analysis (CAs) proposals for new/renewals of FI portfolios.
  • Perform ALM/KYC and due diligence on the FI clients and coordinate with compliance department on related matters.
  • Maintain constant touch with counterparty banks
  • Canvas new business from correspondents and follow through with regular updates.
  • Address complaints /queries related to the counterparty banks which are not resolved by remittances, trade, treasury, reconciliation departments etc.
  • Suggest new banks to open Nostro accounts with.
  • Manage the local banks portfolio from a relationship perspective, deal with their limit requests and propose limits in money market and forex trading.
  • Manage meeting requests by banks and coordinate/ arrange meetings with them be it local or international.
  • Respond to the KYC requests and review by banks we deal with or are looking to deal with.
  • Manage the trade finance limits we have with international banks and negotiate better terms and higher limits with them.

  • Thorough knowledge of International Banking services and products.

  • Directly managing all aspects of the project lifecycle. Responsible for managing the complete lifecycle of government contract technology product implementations.
  • Accountable for full life cycle project management, including project initiation and planning, development, testing, implementation, and closeout.
  • Plan, program, and recommend allocation of resources to support the mission and associated goals and objectives.
