NACTE Technical Teachers Registration System;- The National Council for Technical Education (NACTE) is a corporate body established by the National Council for Technical Education Act, 1997 (Act No. 9 of 1997).
The Act provides a legal framework for the Council to coordinate the provision of technical education and training and establish an efficient national qualifications system that will ensure that products from technical institutions are of high quality and respond to changing needs as well as technological innovations in the world.

How to Register
- Obtain the TRID (Teachers Registration Identification) from the Admission Officer of your institution
- Ensure you have all the required documents as provided in the registration procedures. Click here to download registration procedures
- Applicants with Foreign Certificates should have their Certificates verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) for Undergraduates & Postgraduate qualifications and NACTE for Certificates & Diploma qualifications

The National Council for Technical Education Act, Cap. 129, under Section 5(1)(b) requires the Council ” to register technical teachers and other qualified technicians “. Thus, Technical Teachers and Technicians are required to register themselves and obtain NACTE Registration Identification.
