After the official release of Matric results by department of Basic Education, Candidates will be able to get their statements of results from their school/centre where they wrote the exams. Candidates’ partial results will be available on the Department of Basic Education website.

The Department of Basic Education was formed when the former National Department of Education was split into two: Department of Basic Education and the Department of Higher Education and Training.

Step 1: Visit the Department of Basic Education official website – www.education.gov.za

Step 2: Click on the link for 2021 NSC EXAM RESULTS

Step 3: Enter your Examination number.

Step 4: The result will be displayed on the screen.

Step 5: Download the result and take a printout.

Send your identification (ID) number and exam number via SMS to 35658. Both numbers must have 13 digits to be accepted and there is a once-off charge of R3 to register. Once registration is completed, results will be delivered by SMS when they are released.
