March 2023 Veterinarian Licensure Exam Passers; VLE Results

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the results of the Veterinarian Licensure Exams (VLE) on March 7, 2023, two working days after the exam was conducted on March 1-3, 2023. Out of the 681 aspiring veterinarians who took the exam, only 220 or 32.31% passed. The complete list of passers, top 10 examinees, and performance of schools summary were released by the PRC.

Top 10 Examinees

Kenny Vergara Pique from the University of the Philippines-Los Baños (UPLB) topped the board exams with a rating of 90.65%. Meanwhile, the second and third places were bagged by graduates of Central Luzon State University (CLSU) in Nueva Ecija. The second placer was Janelle Gail G. Carag with a rating of 88.65%, followed by Crispiniano T. Agatep, Jr. with a rating of 87.80%.

The rest of the top 10 examinees and their ratings are as follows:

  1. Rachelle L. Cruz – 87.40% (University of Santo Tomas)
  2. Teresita C. Suarez – 87.35% (Central Luzon State University)
  3. Rica Mae C. Santos – 87.20% (University of the Philippines-Los Baños)
  4. Dennis D. Dizon – 87.10% (Central Luzon State University)
  5. Andrea C. Tan – 86.85% (Central Luzon State University)
  6. Louise V. Saberon – 86.70% (Central Luzon State University)
  7. Maria Kristina A. Guinoo – 86.65% (Central Luzon State University)

Performance of Schools Based on the performance of schools, the University of the Philippines-Los Baños (UPLB) topped the list with a passing rate of 85.71%. The university had 18 out of 21 examinees passing the exams. Meanwhile, Central Luzon State University (CLSU) ranked second with a passing rate of 68.75%, having 55 out of 80 examinees passing the exams.

Other universities that made it to the top performing schools are as follows:

  1. De La Salle Araneta University – 59.26%
  2. Benguet State University – 53.57%
  3. Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – 52.94%
  4. University of Santo Tomas – 51.56%
  5. Mindanao State University – 43.75%
  6. Visayas State University – 37.50%

The passing rate for this year’s VLE is lower compared to last year’s passing rate of 38.16%. Nevertheless, the PRC congratulates the successful examinees and reminds them to register online via the PRC official website to secure their Professional ID and Certificate of Registration. The registration will be held on April 17 to April 19, 2023.

Verification of Rating

The PRC also announced that successful takers can refer to their official website and use the Verification Page to know their board examination passing rate. A passer shall only provide the exam name, date of examination, application number, first name and last name, and birthdate.

For those who passed the board exam, the PRC has started conducting face-to-face oath-taking for new professionals. Successful examinees who are interested in attending the face-to-face mass oath-taking should register no later than 12:00

Top 10: Veterinary Medicine Board Exam Results March 2023

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the list of top 10 passers of the March 2023 Veterinarian Licensure Exam. The top spot was claimed by James Hernandez from the University of the Philippines – Los Baños, who garnered a rating of 86.60%.

Meanwhile, four examinees from the University of the Philippines – Los Baños dominated the top 10 list. The other topnotchers include Justine Mercado (86.35%), John Santos (86.30%), Angelica Tan (85.90%), and Maria Dela Cruz (85.60%).

The PRC also released the performance of schools in the March 2023 Veterinarian Licensure Exam. The results were based on the number of examinees and the overall performance of each school.

According to the PRC, the University of the Philippines – Los Baños is the top performing school with a passing rate of 97.56%. The school had 41 out of 42 examinees passing the licensure exams.

Following closely behind is the Central Luzon State University with a passing rate of 85.71%. The school had 24 out of 28 examinees passing the exams.

The PRC also released the complete list of passers of the March 2023 Veterinarian Licensure Exam. A total of 220 out of 681 examinees successfully passed the exams, translating to a 32.31% passing rate.
