The Institute of Rural Development Planning (IRDP) is a national center for training, research, and consultancy services in rural development planning and management. Established in the 1980s, the Institute offers post-secondary education and training, research, and consulting services to improve the capacity of rural development practitioners. IRDP aims to reduce poverty and achieve sustainable development through sustainable capacity building.

Admission Regulations

Application forms can be obtained from the Registrar’s office, the Institute’s website, or the Online Application System (OAS). Applicants must meet the required minimum entry qualifications and submit their application forms before the indicated deadline.

Selected candidates must report for an orientation program, and registration deadlines apply for first-year and continuing students. Evidence of payment of at least half of the fee, which is directly payable to the Institute,
