ECZ Grade 9 Results Grading System/ Award
The grading system of ECZ Grade 9 is the same as the grading system used in schools with few minor changes.
It is important to note that you only need to pass one section in order to get your certificate. You can opt for either History, Chemistry or Mathematics/Science and make sure that you do well in all three sections.
If you fail one of the sections, then there’s no doubt that it would be very difficult for you to pass any other section with a good grade.
It is also possible for students who have failed Maths/Science at JSSLE level nine to still obtain an ECZ Grade 9 certificate if they successfully complete their NCEA Level 2 Maths/Science subjects from their respective colleges after completing Form 5 education in 2024/2025 academic year under any recognized Polytechnic or Technical Training Institution (PTTI).
