You will be part of a skilled group who are responsible for providing 24 x 7 system supports for all aspects of our transmission and studio systems for AzamTV. There will be shift and some weekend work required.
The Broadcast Engineering Team is the backbone of all our broadcast systems. We’re critical to ensuring that our customers have the best experience possible.
You must have:
- You must have an engineering degree in Electronics/IT/Computer science.
- Able to provide support to on-air and critical broadcast technology systems.
- Excellent knowledge of IT architectures and Strong IT troubleshooting skills.
- Networking; Operating System (Windows, Linux).
- Provide and keep support documentation up to date
- Provide broadcast-quality assurance on all content whether live or file-based
- Maintenance of RF Downlink Ingest Facilities
- Shift based role supporting AzamTV operation 24/7, 365 days a year
- Knowledge of backup systems.
- Good understanding to work with audio-visual and signal acquisition technologies
- Understanding of video/ audio/web compression technologies and encoding software.
- Be available and accessible to work as required on call to provide on-site remote support to transmission and studio systems outside of rostered hours of duty as required
- Proven experience in a complex technical, commercial environment with associated workflow, resource, and project management experience.
- Excellent knowledge and awareness of Television/Media environments
- Demonstrated expertise and broad knowledge of multiple technologies/ platforms.
