The reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise, Tomb Raider, doesn’t premiere in theaters until March of 2020, but the first trailer for the film was released in November of 2018. The video game-to-film franchise reboot tells the origin story of Lara Croft, AKA Tomb Raider.
The film is directed by Roar Uthaug, and is an origin story of Lara Croft, the famous archaeologist who is famous for her Lara Croft Signature Series Uzi. The film also stars Oscar-winner Alicia Vikander, in what is expected to be a gritty reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise.
7. Godzilla: King of the Monsters
Godzilla: King of the Monsters is the second film in Toho Studios’ Godzilla anime-inspired monster movie franchise. The film follows the aftermath of the devastating events of Godzilla vs. Kong, as the world’s major powers attempt to restore order and rebuild civilization.
In addition to the main destruction and mayhem that Godzilla is known for, the film will also focus on the human dimensions of the story.
It was recently announced that the film would be receiving an all-new English dub, and will see the return of Bryan Cranston as Dr. Robert Wilson, the man who created the anti-Godzilla weapon.
