Isabel Beatriz “Bea” Paras de Leon was born on November 5, 1996, in Manila, Philippines. She was born into a family of Lasallians, with her mother, father, brother, aunts, uncles, and cousins all being graduates of De La Salle University.
From a young age, Bea was involved in various sports such as badminton, golf, softball, football, and swimming. However, it was volleyball that caught her attention, and she began playing competitively in high school.
Bea continued to hone her skills in college, where she played for the Ateneo Lady Eagles volleyball team. During her time at Ateneo, she helped the team win two UAAP championships.
