Bea De Leon is a professional volleyball player from the Philippines, born on November 5, 1996. She is known for her exceptional skills in playing the middle blocker position.
De Leon grew up in a family of Lasallians. Her mother Det, father Elmer, and brother Loel, were all graduates of the De La Salle University. From a young age, she has played various sports like badminton, golf, softball, football, and swimming. However, volleyball was the sport that she excelled in the most.
Bea De Leon started her volleyball career in high school, where she played for the De La Salle Santiago Zobel School. She then went on to play for the De La Salle Lady Spikers in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) from 2014 to 2018. During her time in the UAAP, De Leon helped the Lady Spikers win three championships.
After graduating from college, De Leon continued her volleyball career and joined the Creamline Cool Smashers club team in the Premiere Volleyball League (PVL). She quickly became one of the team’s key players, helping them win the championship in the 2019 PVL Open Conference.
