Candidates who are already enrolled in ESSA can apply online for these vacancies without going to the labor centers. The youth will receive ongoing learning and development interventions during the term of the contract to enhance their performance and prepare them for potential future job and/or entrepreneurial opportunities.

The youth’s fixed-term contract, which will last from 1 November 2024 to 31 October 2025, will coincide with the project’s lifespan. Selected individuals will be assigned to the Department’s offices in North West and Gauteng.

All positions require the required credentials listed below from a university, a university of technology, or TVET.

The successful candidates will perform the following duties:

3 RE-ASSEMBLER(200 Posts) R5 000 per month Diploma in Document and / or Records Management or Information Technology Retrieval of files digitisedReturn files to shelvesVerify files with initial files received from source
4 RECEIVING CLERK(50 Posts) R5 000 per month Diploma in Document and / or Records Management or Information Technology Verify boxes and files receivedCapture and number boxes and files received
5 DRIVERS(8 Posts) R5 000 per month Diploma in Document and / or Records Management or Information Technology and a valid driving licence Load and delivering boxes to digital bureaus and back to source
6 INDEXER(800 Posts) R5 500 per month Degree in Information Technology or Library Science or Computer Science Indexing of filesSort and list filesRe-assemble filesBox files in batches
7 SCANNER(400 Posts) R5 000 per month Diploma in Information Technology or Library Science or Computer Science Scanning material using a high-volume scannerLoading the scanner and scanning bundlesImage clean up
8 QUALITY CONTROLLER(100 Posts) R6 000 per month Degree in Information Technology or Library Science or Computer Science Conduct quality control for all relevant functions
9 TEAM LEADERS(104 Posts)  R6 500 per month Degree in Document and / or Records Management or Information Technology or Computer Science Supervise day to day activitiesDuty allocation (allocation of work activities)Manage performanceProvide daily / weekly reports to the PMO
