Announcing the results today, Saturday, July 10, 2023, in Zanzibar, the Executive Secretary of the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA), Dr. Charles Msonde said the Singida region has done well with a pass rate of 73.91 percent.

Msonde also named Lindi Region with second place with 73.58 percent, while Mara region with third place with 72.08 percent.
Similarly, Mara Region has become the first region to increase its performance for three consecutive years by 4.80 percent followed by the North Pemba region by 4.46 percent and Katavi region its performance has increased by 2.77 percent.
