This role supports our mission by providing specialized HR professional support in the day-to-day management and administration of the Human Resource function, aligned with our business strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
Policy and Procedures:
- Assist in the administrative implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Ensure alignment with staff contracts, employee handbook, labor laws, and field operational manual.
Report Writing:
- Conduct monthly trend and report analysis on various HR indices.
- Provide monthly reports on Resourcing Status, Performance Review Status, Engagement Action Plans, etc.
Business Partnering and Headcount Management:
- Capture and act upon feedback from field offices to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date job descriptions for all roles.
- Support administrative activities like memo preparation and approval processes.
- Prepare Safety and Security reports.
Alternative Focal Person:
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes.
- Facilitate administrative tasks such as preparing interview schedules and conducting background checks.
- Ensure all required employee documentation is correctly filed and updated.
- Track and monitor probationary periods.
Performance Management and Learning and Development:
- Ensure timely implementation of performance reviews.
- Support staff with tuition assistance, trainings, and online learning platforms.
- Track and monitor performance improvement plans.
Exit Management:
- Facilitate staff separation per internal policies.
- Organize exit interviews and ensure the return of office equipment and terminal benefits.
- Ensure proper handover responsibilities and correct payment of terminal dues.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Support the administration of merit processes and contract renewals.
- Manage employee benefits and liaise with vendors for various employee requests.
Qualifications:
Required:
- University degree in Human Resources Management, Sociology, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related fields.
- Understanding of Tanzanian Labor Laws.
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in Human Resources Management, Administration, or Finance.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
- Strong report writing and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate HR-related systems.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Prior HR or administrative experience.
- Fluency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
