How to Create a JAE Appeal Account
This section guides you on how to create a JAE Appeal Account. You must create an account in order to make your appeal.
- Visit the URL https://jaeappeal.edu.sg/
- Click on the Application tab.
- Click on Create JAE Appeal Account link to proceed to the account creation page.
- Scan or tap on the QR code to automatically fill up the form with information from your MyInfo profile. You will be required to continue login in the SingPass Mobile App. Once the form is filled, check the declaration checkbox at the bottom of the form, and click on “SUBMIT”. If you do not have a Singpass account or MyInfo profile, you may fill in the required fields manually.
- An account activation email from the JAE Appeal System will be sent to your registered email address. Click on the activation link to proceed to the account activation page.
- Fill in your NRIC/FIN and enter a new password for your account, then click on “SUBMIT”.
Note: Password needs to be a minimum of 12 alphanumeric characters including at least two of the following categories:
- One uppercase (A-Z) alphabet
- One lowercase (a-z) alphabet
- One digit (0-9)
- One special character (!@#$%^&*)
How to Sign-In Via Singpass
This section guides you on how to sign into your account using Singpass. You can also sign in using your registered email and JAE Appeal password. Section 4 will guide you on how to sign in using your email and password.
Note: During Singpass maintenance periods, you will not be able to sign-in to the JAE Online Appeal Portal via Singpass. Please log in with your registered email address and account password instead.
- To login with Singpass QR code, scan/tap on the QR. You will be required to continue login in the Singpass Mobile App.
- You will be redirected to the JAE Appeal website upon successful verification.
How to Sign-In Via Email and Password
This section guides you on how to sign into your account using your email and password. You can also sign in using Singpass if you have a Singpass account. Section 4 will guide you on how to sign in using Singpass.
- Fill up the required fields and click on “SIGN-IN WITH JAE APPEAL PASSWORD”. The password is the one which you have chosen in Section 2.6. If you have forgotten your password, please refer to Section 11.
Updating Personal Particulars
This section guides you on how to edit and / or update your personal particulars.
- Fill up the required fields and click on “SAVE AND GO TO NEXT STEP”.
Note: If you have signed in with Singpass authentication, your mobile number from your MyInfo profile will be used in the Update Personal Particulars form and will not be editable. To update your mobile number in your MyInfo profile, please login to the Singpass mobile app or the Singpass website (https://www.singpass.gov.sg/main/individuals/). To update contact numbers directly in JAE-Appeal Portal, please sign-in with JAE-Appeal password as described in Section 4.
Select Choices
This section guides you on how to select your choices for appeal. You can select a maximum of 6 choices.
- Select the Polytechnic/ITE of your choice for Course 1.
- Select the course of your choice for Course 1.
Note: You will only be able to select courses where:
- You have met the course’s minimum entry requirements, and
- Your aggregate score is equal to or better than that of the last student successfully posted into the course in the 2020 JAE.
You can view the last aggregate scores for the 2020 JAE under the Courses tab, from the date of release of the JAE posting results onwards.
- (Optional) Repeat for Course 2 – Course 6.
- Click on “SAVE AND GO TO NEXT STEP” to save your choice selections.
- Clicking on “GO TO PREVIOUS STEP” will take you back to Section 5 and any choice selections will not be saved.
Preview / Submit Application
Note: This is the Preview page. Your application has not been submitted yet until you click on “SUBMIT” at the bottom of the page.
- Carefully check your personal particulars and course choices to ensure that all information is correct. Click the checkbox next to “I declare that all above information entered is correct” and click on “SUBMIT”.
Note: Clicking on “GO TO PREVIOUS STEP” will take you back to Section 6 and your application will not be submitted.
- confirmation email for your appeal application submission will be sent to your email address.
Appeal Application Status
This is the confirmation page for your appeal. At this stage, your appeal application submission is completed.
You will be able to do the following:
- “Edit Personal Particulars” – to modify your submitted personal particulars
- “Edit Choices” – to modify your submitted appeal choices
- “Withdraw Appeal” – to withdraw your submitted appeal application and retain your JAE posted course
- “Print” – to print the confirmation page
- “Log Out”
Withdraw Appeal
Note: You may only withdraw your appeal during the appeal application period. Appeal applications cannot be withdrawn or amended once the application period has closed.
This section guides you on how to withdraw your submitted appeal application.
- Click on “Withdraw Appeal” button described in Section.
- Click on “Yes” button to proceed to withdraw application.
- A confirmation email for withdrawing appeal application will be sent to your email address.
Appeal Application Results
- You will be notified by email to check your result in JAE Appeal Portal when appeal application results are released.
- You will also receive your appeal application result by SMS.
Note: Depending on the number of characters, the appeal application result SMS may be split into more than one message.
Forgot Password
Note: You have a maximum number of 10 failed login attempts. If you exceed the maximum number of failed login attempts, your account will be locked. Please contact us at help@JAEAppeal.edu.sg for assistance to unlock your account.
This section guides you on how to reset your password;-
- Click on “Forgot JAE Appeal Password”.
- Fill up the required fields and click on “Submit”.
- An email with an activation link from JAE Appeal System will be sent to your email address. Click on the activation link to proceed to the reset password page.
- Fill in the required fields and click on “Submit”.
Report Vulnerability
This section guides you on how to report a vulnerability.
- To report a suspected vulnerability or weakness which may potentially affect the JAE Appeal system, please click on the “Report Vulnerability” link found at the bottom-right corner of every page.
New Applicant
If you are logging in for the first time, please click on the link below to create an account with a valid email address. Once your account has been created, you may begin to submit an appeal application.
Returning Applicant
If you are a returning applicant looking to update personal information or edit/view/print existing an application, please click on the link below to sign in with the authentication mode (registered email address or SingPass) registered to your existing JAE Appeal account.
