The Zimbabwe Schools Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) is set to release the 2022 Ordinary Level results today, Friday, 03 February. ZIMSEC spokesperson Nichollete Dlamini confirmed the development to State media. “The 2022 Ordinary Level results will be released today,” she said. ZIMSEC recently rubbished social media reports that the November 2022 Ordinary Level examinations will be cancelled due to massive leakages of some papers.

Today, Friday, February 3, the Zimbabwe Schools Examinations Council (ZIMSEC), is scheduled to announce the 2022 Ordinary Level results.
State media received confirmation of the development from ZIMSEC spokeswoman Nichollete Dlamini. The results for the 2022 Ordinary Level would be made public today, she stated.

Recently, ZIMSEC denied social media rumors that the November 2022 Ordinary Level exams would be postponed due to significant paper leaks.
ZIMSEC reportedly stated in a statement on Tuesday, January 17, that it was wrapping up the requirements before the results were made public.
A total of 291 591 candidates took the exams, up from 249 914 who took them in 2021. This resulted in a pass rate of 26,34 percent, a 1,57 percent rise from the 2020 exams.

They were, but they weren’t as good as the 2019 results, which had a pass rate of 31.6 percent.
As opposed to 2020, when a total of 184 249 candidates took five or more subjects and 45 644 passed five or more subjects with a grade C or better, yielding an overall percentage pass rate of 24,77 percent, in 2021, 163 179 candidates took five or more subjects and 42 985 passed five or more subjects with a grade C or better.
