All requisite information and guidelines to take the applicant through the application stages are provided from the respective Instructions tab. ie. UNDERGRADUATE tab for those applying for Certificates, diplomas, and bachelor degrees and POSTGRADUATE tab for those applying for postgraduate-diplomas, masters, and PhD
Applicants are reminded to register their names as they appear in the Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education (CSE) and Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (ACSE) including index numbers where prompted.
Postgraduate applicants with Foreign Certificates should have their certificates verified by the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) at http://faas.tcu.go.tz/login.php upon receipt of admission letter and prior to joining the University of Dar es Salaam for studies.

Selection results for Round One are now available in applicants’ accounts at https://udsm.admission.ac.tz. Please log in your application account to view the results. We Congratulate and Welcome all those selected to join the University of Dar es Salaam.
Candidates with single admission will be served with admission letters after all rounds of selections are completed.
Candidates with multiple admissions are required to confirm their offers through their admission accounts. Please request a CODE, then enter the CODE on the given slot, finally click CONFIRM.
Important dates for candidates with multiple admissions (candidates selected by more than one institution)
- 24th August: Multiple admission status displayed in applicants’ admission accounts and confirmation of admission offer begins
- 6th September: Deadline for confirmation of admission offer
Please note that failure to confirm by the deadline will indicate that you have not accepted the offer and your slot will be filled by other applicants
Be aware:
- No payment is required to obtain a confirmation CODE
- The codes can only be requested through applicants’ admission accounts
Please be further informed that the Second Window of Applications will open on the 24th of August. You are all invited to re-apply or send a new application if you missed the first round.

The academic year 2021/2022:
October Intake (Second Batch) for 2021/2022 is now open.
NOTE: July Intake (First Batch) Application is closed.
The deadline for Second Batch Applications is 30th September.
Successful applicants will be notified within four weeks after the closing dates of the Applications.
