Netflix Overlord fantasy drama is another anime topping the charts on the streaming platform. Transformed from a light novel series penned by Kojani Maruyama. The novel series was a sensation in Japan. This led the creators to animate an entire web series of it. And it would be right to say that the anime quote was also good.
The anime is produced by Madhouse and directed by Naoyuki Ito. It comes with a dark twist to the story. Thus, the anime captured the audience with its release. With three seasons on the gluttony, the Otacus longs for the fourth season of Overlord.
Release date: Season four of Overlord
The first season was broadcast again in 2015 with 15 episodes. Season 2 and Season 3 of Overlord were released in January 2018 and July 2018. It has been nearly two years since, but there is no information about Overlord Season 4. The series has not been renewed. But let’s not disappoint our hopes. The creators have also hinted that they believe Overlord needs a new season.
However, after noticing the pattern, we found that there was a two-year gap between the first and second season. So, we’re hoping to have Overlord Season 4 in the next 2-3 years.

Plot: Overlord Season Four
The anime follows the story of a miserable young man who is stuck in a game. In the growing age of technology, the game is getting old and finally being closed. All players are logged out of their accounts except for one, Momonga. Registered as Warrior King. Now he’s trying to conquer this virtual world.
The previous three seasons covered stories up to 9 volumes. The fourth season of Overlord will likely be captured from the next installment of the light novel series. It may cover 10 to 12 volumes of the novel. Anime is full of challenges, difficulties and confrontations.
Toward the end of last season, we noticed that Aynes was facing some internal struggles. With so many new responsibilities to take on, he was facing some difficulties as ruler. So, the narration will likely continue from the end of Season Three. And he had heard that Ainz would be viewed negatively. So he might end up being the main opponent in the next season.
